Madam, namaste ji.this and other articles are very useful.many thanks.
I want to know if whole herb or it’s powder is good or extract capsule of the herbs are good, but we don’t know how the extract was made . also if any company check for heavy metal in the herbs made as few company herb’s are having high heavy metal in their products

    1. Hi, it is best to use the herb in its most natural form. Whole herb or powdered form are very good for use. Medicinal preparations like Ashwagandha pak are even better as they have many digestive herbs that ensure proper absorption of nutrition. Better go for companies that have a very long tradition of Ayurvedic manufacturing with good results. Unfortunately, the biggest names in North India have completely useless medicines as I could hardly find any effects through them. However, I can seriously recommend traditional Ayurveda houses in South India, esp Kerala that have excellent quality.

Thanks for all the info, no doubt its a wonder herb. Many say that its only effective, if taken with warm milk, will it be equally effective if taken with water.

    1. Hi, thanks for the response. In the next post, I am covering how to use Ashwagandha. It can be taken with warm water also. Instead, it is actually more effective if it is boiled in water for 15-20 min.
